The support of three well-equipped and modern laboratories enables Softer to look for new solutions every day so as to supply the customer with reliable and tested products. Laboratory A deals with checking SBS-based granulated end products for footwear. Laboratory B deals with TPEs, TPVs (Forprene) and SBS-based granulated materials for technical applications. Laboratory C deals with checking olefinic-based technopolymeric end products and with more in-depth analysis on products by our competitors.
There is also a department which deals with the characterization of main bituminous blends whose polymeric additive is one of our products.

Furthermore, SO.F.TER. is developing several innovative projects with some Universities, more precisely applied researches aiming at creating a wide range of high value-added products suitable to meet the most demanding requirements of our customers.
