The TPE Division develops, manufactures and distributes highly-technological elastomeric compounds which are mainly used in the automotive and building industries, not to mention many other applications in the sport, leisure, housewares, etc.
The ETP Division studies, produces and markets a wide range of plastomer-based compounds. Its product portfolio includes a number of materials modified with additives, fillers or reinforcing agents such as carbon fibres, glass fibres, conductive fillers or self lubricating substances, as well as flame retarded materials.
The SBS Division offers a wide choice of SBS-TR compound which are used in the footwear industry for shoe soles injection-moulding. The elastomeric pellets for infill of artifical turf are also manufactured here, as well as the special thermoplastic elastomers for the modification of road bitumen.

International presence
SO.F.TER strengthened its international presence with the foundation, in June 2005,  of a new company called SO.F.TER Brazil Compostos Termoplasticos LTDA for the production of TPV for the Latin American markets.

A few months later, in February 2006 SO.F.TER México started officially its activity: the new structure, headquartered in Léon, produces Thermoplastic Rubber compounds for the Mexican footwear industry and it is expected to serve also the neighbouring countries in the next future.
With the opening of these new productive and commericial branches,
SO.F.TER. consolidates its presence in Latin America, which is considered a strategic area in the TPEs global market.
