The Thermoplastic Elastomer Division is specialised in the development and production of high tech elastomeric compounds. The product range, including Forprene® (TPV), Laprene® (SEBS), Sofprene T® (SBS) and Forflex® (TPO) trademarks, features a wide set of technical and functional properties and offers materials that are suitable for several processing techniques such as injection moulding, extrusion and blow moulding. All materials can be customized according to clients' requests and adjusted to specific applications.

The polymeric compounds manufactured by the TPE Division are extensively used in the automotive, building, household appliances, sports and leisure time sectors and have received the approval of prestigious international clients. The manufacturing department is equipped with three pilot plants for the development of new formulations and samples in order to cater for market requirements with flexibility.

The TPE Division quality management system is ISO 9001:2008 compliant.

The Engineering Thermoplastic Division develops, manufactures and distributes rigid plastic materials. The product catalogue includes trademarks such as Polifor® (PP), Nylfor® (PA6 e PA66), Pibifor® (PBT), Abistir® (ABS), Blendfor® (PC-ABS), Sanfor® (SAN), Stirofor® (HI-PS), Cabofor® (PC) and Norfor® (PPO) and offer a wide range of flame-retarded materials or materials modified with fillers and reinforcing agents such as carbon fibres and glass fibres, conductive fillers and self-lubricating substances. All materials are mainly used in the automotive, electrical and household appliances sectors and in the furniture and sports sectors to manufacture highly resistant structural components. The ETP Division is ISO 9001:2008 certified and boasts prestigious Italian and international industrial brands among its end customers.

The SBS Division manufactures a comprehensive range of thermoplastic rubbers for shoes, clogs and boots sole moulding. These materials are distributed and known worldwide under the Sofprene® trademark The product range includes compact, foamed, transparent and translucent materials in a wide set of finishings ranging from vulcanised rubber effect to worn-out effect and with a comprehensive classical and fashionable colour palette. A quick customisation and development service for new materials is also available to meet market needs on a timely basis. Sofpur® is a TPU-based material modified with elastomers which was recently added to the traditional TPR product range, has extremely good aesthetic and mechanical properties and can be easily processed. Thanks to its features Sofpur® is suitable to high end shoes, but also technical, safety and work shoes.

SBS Division manufactures two further elastomer-based materials dedicated to important applications.

Forgrin® is a thermoplastic elastomer pellet for infill of artificial turf. Its is made up of a special mixture of high temperature and weathering resistant polymers and his mechanical properties and its elasticity thus remain unaltered over time. It meets the strictest international standards in environment protection, health and sports activities fields and it complies with FIFA and LND (Italian League of Amateurs) regulations on synthetic football field.

Pavprene® is an elastomer-based modifier for road bitumen. Modified bitumen is used for the production of draining asphalt, which considerably increases safety and driving comfort thanks to a whole series of advantages such as no “aquaplaning” effect, improvement of the road grip of tyres in the event of rain, improvement of visibility by reducing splashes caused by vehicle tyres and noise level. When it rains, draining asphalt can reduce the number of accidents up to 30%.
